As my very first beginner's sewing class approaches, i've been scouring various websites in hopes of finding ideas for my final project. I was informed we would have to make an article of clothing of our choice, and want to do something a little more difficult than a simple a-line skirt. I stumbled upon a website that I am now obsessed with (yes, another website that I love, there are so many!) called LOOKBOOK. It's basically nothing short of amazing, and if you like fashion, highly entertaining. Similar to Pinterest, it is so easy to spend hours upon hours on this website. I like these websites because they make the little wheels in my head spin... or however that saying goes... and provides me with some wonderful day-dreams of what my next shopping trip will be like. Right now, it's all about the orange denim, white over-sized tshirts, bright/bold cardigans, and floppy hats. Like this!
I also really like long, flowy skirts and anything brown when paired with a white blouse and gold jewelry.
Over the past two hours, i've seen plenty of outfits that I adore, but I am still not positive about what to do for my final sewing project. Sundress most likely? A yellow one? With lots of buttons. Maybe?
On a side note... I am refusing to make a pillow at any point during this class. I am not taking a sewing class to learn how to sew pillows. Nope, no way. LAME.
