Naturally, I always like to be the show-off and prove to all the strangers around me that I am highly talented. (Actually, i'm the complete opposite.)"Hoops for Koops" is a ring-toss game that anyone can play by donating $1.00 to the Mustard Museum. For a dollar, you get 4 rings that you toss across the table and try to get a "ringer" around a mustard bottle.
The prize was........ any bottle of Koops mustard that you'd like!!!(BIG surprise.) Since I always like to represent my "hometown", I chose the Dijon mustard of Dijon, France.
After that exciting challenge, we played the Food Trivia game (5 out of 15 correct) and the Mustard Trivia game (4 out of 15 correct). I then canoodled with the life-size French's Mustard bottle, as seen here:
Also, we were taught a very wise saying that I will forever continue to follow:
I mean, I already pretend that my french fries are Linkin Logs and build forts when i'm bored, so why not continue this tradition with other various foods?
After the all-so-exciting Mustard Museum visit, my boyfriend and I decided it'd be a perfect day to head to Prairie Du Sac, Wisconsin for a little wine tasting and tour at the Wollersheim Winery.
This place is fantastic! For a measly $5.00, you are taken on a 45 minute/1 hour tour of the vineyard. You are given the history of the winery, and learn about the fermentation processes as well as taste 5 of their most popular red and white wines. For a few dollars more, you can indulge in the Red or White "flights" and taste a few more of the delicious wines, and if you feel like being a little risque, Brandy too!
I chose to continue the wine-tasting, and partook in the White Flight, and Ryan the Red Flight. We ended up leaving Wollersheim with three bottles of wine, and a bottle of sparkling grape juice.
Great success, i'd say! And the weekend isn't even over yet!
Happy 4th of July, everyone! Today will bring bbq's, fireworks, and a whole lot of people that I love. :)
