Vino & Gelato

I played catch-up with a few of my oldest friends last night at Villa Dolce in Middleton.

It is crazy how fast time flies - Wasn't it just yesterday that we were talking about the cute, older boy in 5th grade? Or hanging out in the commons at our high school during one of our "free mods"? Our conversations have changed from "When's the next N*SYNC concert?!" to "How many people are married?" and "How many children do they have now?" Not that I mind... Everyone grows up. [Although, to this day I still wonder if N*SYNC will ever get back together... I may never fully grow up.]

Our "play dates" used to end when our parents picked us up, or when we had to be home at midnite for curfew. NOW... they end when my teacher-friend has to go home and make boards for class and cookies for her students. Ahhhh, take me back to 1995 please!

Old friends are the greatest. I am thankful for each and every one of you!

*If you're looking for a quaint little place that serves an array of yummy wines, check out Villa Dolce in Middleton. Their gelato is AMAZING and I hear their pizza is to die for.
Oh, and... just a friendly tip:

The waitress will bring your bottle of wine to your table and "display" it for you as to make sure it is the correct wine you ordered. DO NOT try to grab the bottle out of her hand. I didn't know what she was doing, so I tried to take it from her.

Me = Always classin' up the joint!
