Amanda's Headin' To San Diego!

My beloved co-worker Amanda is leaving our place of employment in one week.

Not only is she leaving our job, but she's leaving this state.

Now tell me, who in their right mind would want to move from this frigid state of Wisconsin, to San Diego, California? Tell me, WHO!?

Amanda... that's who. The only reason i'm happy about this is because now I have someone to visit / mooch off of / sleep on their couch for free.99 when I take a vacation!

Since Amanda is as Wisconsin as they get, I thought she might need some help. After all, i've been to California three.whole.times. #expert

This is my version of a "How To Survive Your Move To California" kit:

1. Sutter Home vino - To ease those nerves a bit. Moving is stressful.

2. Creamy Tomato Soup at Hand - I'm going to miss my soup buddy.
Soup for breakfast? Okay!

3. Sour Patch Kids - Lots and lots and lots of Sour Patch Kids to help feed her craving for one whole day.

4. Homemade Coasters - She's been BEGGING me to make her a set.

5. Prunes - To keep her regular.

6. Tanning Lotion - So she  doesn't stand out with her pale-Wisconsin skin.

7. Sunscreen  - Safety first.

8. Giant Lollipop - So she can make friends. Everyone wants to be buddies with the girl with the giant lollipop.

9. Blank Cards - To write home to mommy (and me).

10. Starbucks Instant Coffee - A warning to all of her future co-workers:
She is NOT a morning person. Make sure she gets her AM caffeine fix STAT.

11. Ring Pops - Candy bling... What's better than that? Diamonds? NO.

12. Disposable Camera - To take pictures with, duh.

13. Nail Polish - Gotta look pretty for all those surfer boys she's going to meet!

14. Word Find - To keep busy on those boring California evenings.

NOT PICTURED:
*A list of "10 Fashion Faux Pas" - I have GOT to make sure she doesn't make a fool of herself when she hob-knobs with all those celebs that are running around San Diego.
#WisconsinitePerspective

*Mustache's on a stick - I couldn't let her leave without her most prized possessions:
The fake 'stache.

*Kleenex - For crying.

*Framed California prints x4 - Pretty artwork for her new digs.

See you this summer!
